I was reading the book of Proverbs today and it was describing the amazing gift of Wisdom. I’ve read this chapter many times before, but for the first time what was bigger to me than the word Wisdom, was the words “SHE” and “HER”.

It said, “Happy is the man who finds wisdom, For HER proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And HER gain than fine gold. SHE is more precious than rubies, And all the things you may desire cannot compare with HER. HER ways are ways of pleasantness, And all HER paths are peace. SHE is a tree of life to those who take hold of HER,And happy are all who retain HER.”

LISTEN here! I said to myself, I need to be WISDOM to my husband. All the things he may desire, cannot compare to me. He should want to come home and look for me, because in me is his peace. When we build together he realizes that my proceeds are BETTER than silver. In me is where he can take refuge from the attacks of the world because I am a tree of life! I love that Proverbs 31 chick, but Babe, can I be your Wisdom?
