My mission is to help you own your truth, find your voice, and give it meaning through storytelling. For as long as I can remember the story of my life was being written. As a child in foster care, my social worker and I sat down together and wrote a paragraph about why families should want to adopt my twin brother and I. This small paragraph allowed me to control my own narrative as I gave them insight behind the trauma that I experienced.

 

It was then that I realized the importance in not only telling your story, but more importantly the power of your voice. Maya Angelou said it best, “Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning." There has never been a better time for you to release the story that God has given you.
